AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...West winds 30 to 35 mph with gusts up to 60 mph occurring.

* WHERE...Portions of north central and northeast Illinois and
  northwest Indiana.

* WHEN...Until 4 PM CDT this afternoon.

* IMPACTS...Damaging winds may blow down tree limbs and power lines.
  Power outages are possible. Travel will be difficult, especially
  for high profile vehicles.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Avoid windows during the windstorm. Watch for falling debris and
tree limbs. Use caution if you must drive.
