THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Sustained southerly winds to 30 mph with gusts of 55 to 65
  mph expected.

* WHERE...In Illinois, Ford, Iroquois, and Kankakee Counties. In
  Indiana, Benton, Jasper, Lake IN, Newton, and Porter Counties.

* WHEN...Until 9 PM CDT /10 PM EDT/ this evening.

* IMPACTS...Damaging winds will blow down trees and power lines, and
  may result in localized power outages. Travel will be difficult,
  especially along west-to-east oriented roadways.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Watch for falling debris and tree limbs. Use caution if you must
drive.
