I started out studying and then getting my Technician license in October of 2000. I then buckled down and started learning Morse Code which at the time was required in order to advance to a higher level license. I passed the Morse Code test in the spring of 2001 then began studying for the General Class license test. I passed that test in June of 2001 which gave me HF frequency privilege’s.
